Cameron Collar is the Instructor of Low Brass at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, second trombone of the Fayetteville Symphony, and a freelance trombonist residing in the Triangle area of North Carolina. With a lifelong passion for music, Cameron eventually picked up the trombone in sixth grade. Since then, he has enjoyed spending time performing in orchestras, wind ensembles, and various chamber music settings.

Cameron is a 2023 graduate of the Eastman School of Music, in Rochester, NY, where he earned his Master of Music degree in Trombone Performance and Literature. In 2021, Cameron graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Trombone Performance. At Eastman, Cameron enjoyed performing with the Eastman Wind Ensemble, the Eastman Philharmonia, the Beal Institute for Film Music and Contemporary Music, and Eastman’s Musica Nova.
